Abstract

This article presents the challenges experienced by the researcher and participants in conducting collaborative research. Seven student-trainee trainers have developed a development trajectory for a planning skill among student-trainees in secondary education. The three stages of the research wre analysed: cosituation, cooperation and co-production of the trajectory. The research shows that the challenges faced by the trainers and the researcher have led to reflections both on their roles within the research process and on the support provided to trainers in initial teacher education in Quebec.
