In principle a learner invites themself, is invited to succeed in their learnings which result, if necessary, by the validation of a certification. How does the transformative and emancipatory dimension of success emerge? The context of this study corresponds to a short-term training of casual trainers. Based on an anthropological research in sciences of education, certain issues related to the anthropology of success will be identified. It is essential that the trainee educator take this paradigm into account for their upcoming practice to free themselves from any idea received as obvious as far as success in education is concerned.
